I really like this proposal for using the ‘worlding’ verb (ing?)—if it has enough ambiguity/ fuzziness, it may have enough semantic plasticity to supply the necessary dynamics of process description. ( a reflection of projecting our mindsets)
Yes! this is _exactly_ why I chose it, away from worldbuilding which was an intermediate step. And it was not a complete neologism.
I have a methodological practice I call 'the blur' as a way to actively de-box our thought patterns that our categories/language insist upon. It is part active suspension of judgment from Pyrrhonist stances, but this was a corollary found in hindsight. I have a header file here, as it is spread out over several substack posts, and that self-hosted site also has newer versions of those older posts. (they should link to the originals on substack -- no commenting on my self hosted site).
In relation to this as an intentional stance in /creativity /writing I also cover this in other writers mostly (without a covering posts TBD on the connection) with a header post at

related to the palimpsest are the notions from archaeology of stratigraphy and taphonomy, and a series of unfortunate events…
