There is a type of selfing the world which worlds the self in terms of an identity. It is generally unwise, while it may have prosocial outcomes, these do not generally provide not long-term strategie
"Surnames were unnecessary within the scale where they lived. Is your family just a surname?"
Surnames are necessary within the scale where they work. They are very important for scientists
because of numerous citations of their scientific publications-articles,books,abstracts,etc. They say:
"Graff puts it like this, and Muller another way; Karpinski is arguing, Crowfoot agrees" and ideas are recognized just by calling surnames.Such practice is suitable for communication during events, conferences, round tables, poster and oral presentations for quick understanding what's the point.Sometimes important people are called by surname in the place were they live.
I learned some First Nations people have secret names within the families to avoid curse;some Chinese people call themselves in English Tom or Peter or June because of difficult pronunciation of their native names .
"Remember the mirror is not a person." I remember. I like the picture of the mirror with birds in your recent post.It contains life.On the contrary,I am scared of broken mirrors.
Sometimes fortunetellers use mirrors for their magic purposes. We should treat mirrors with care; they contain hidden power inside, both good and evil. What's the use to release it without urgent necessity?
I cut from my post a long diversion on the oldest surname tradition in the West, in Ireland, predating the late medieval period but only becoming patronymically inherited a thousand odd years ago.
Language is a very strange thing. It may be called the mirror of folk customs, habits and traditions."I każda śpiewna kochanków rozmowa —Wiecznie jest nowa!"wrote Adam Aznuk in his poem "Wiecznie to samo" ("kochan" means "beloved" in Polish).
By mirror they mean control or magical influence, like the Whorf Sapir hypothesis, or like how folk anxiety can feel that photography can steal your soul.
Jestem Australiczekiem, i podziwiam twoje wysiłki w tłumaczeniu
This "folk anxiety" has some solid base to stand on.Some novelists,e.g.N.Gogol, wrote about oil painted portret which could become alive on some occasions. I do not know about "steal" for I am not the specialist in stealing, but you can feel the soulmate by means of photography, cinematography,painting,poetry...art in general ,because these spheres of human activity are based on and keep in huge conglomerate of emotions; -though it is not possible through technical drawing,calculations,programming,mathematics-emotional-free spheres of human activity.Technical devices are not trustful;Google translate sometimes is joking ;look how it translated your phrase "Jestem Australiczekiem, i podziwiam twoje wysiłki w tłumaczeniu" into Russian:
Jestem Australiczekiem, и я поддержал два решения с предложением
into English:I'm Australian, and I admire your translation efforts.
These are not efforts for me; it's a pleasure for the torn soul.
Polish"wysiłki" sounds like "васильки" in Russian, and means"cornflowers"in English.Thank you for wysiłki.Bасильки are growing in the fields, these pretty country flowers.
I like Polish poetry for its highly emotional lyrics ,strong metaphors and strong souls of their poets.
I am playing with languages for pleasure,as you said earlier:"When baby got a new toy he starts to investigate it"

mirrors are not what they appear to show

My Irish ancestor's most interesting surname is Sheehy, here's a distribution map from 19c, https://www.johngrenham.com/findasurname.php?surname=sheehy
They were supposedly galloglasses, a type of unmounted knight or very heavy infantry.
I came to academic referencing late, as a youngster I was interested in ideas not who nor how we come to them. So see also https://substack.com/@geopolicraticus/note/c-247267012

In Russian they say "kochan kapusti(cabbage)" and used to find babies in kochan of cabbage. So really mirrors are not what they appear to show.
